Sydney Family Law Specialists Pty Ltd was proudly opened by Legal Practitioner Director, Sonia Collins.   Sonia is an Accredited Family LawSpecialist and brings with her a wealth of family law experience to ensure that your rights are protected and that the best outcome is achieved for you and your family.
Sonia graduated from the University of Sydney in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts (Social Policy and Sociology) and Bachelor of Laws with Honours.
In November 2002 she held the position of Deputy Associate to a Federal Magistrate at the Federal Magistrates Court of Australia (now the Federal Circuit Court of Australia) where she undertook extensive legal research on complex family law issues and gained a solid knowledge of the Family Law Act and family law practise and procedure.
Since her admission in 2004, Sonia has practised exclusively in family law and has worked for a variety of boutique family law firms, both in New South Wales and Western Australia.  She has regularly appeared in a variety of courts including the Family Court of Australia, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, the Family Court of Western Australia and the Local Court.

Sonia practises in all areas of family law and assists clients with the negotiation and resolution of all family law matters including complex family law matters involving:
Corporate, trust and partnership issues;
Urgent parenting and property issues;
Interstate and International relocation;
Child Abduction; and
Mental health issues and domestic violence.

The Following Management Committee are buit on key people within the Macarthur Community and are all Professionals and experienced to oversee the key elements for compliance, legal requirements and strategic Planning for the future of the organsiation.  



Rolf  has trained with, and am undertaking further training with the prestigious "The Coaching Institute". I understand the stresses of raising a family, and the difficulty in balancing career choices with life stresses. I am happily married, and we have 3 sons.


I strongly believe in community, and enjoy helping helping others. I am a Justice of the Peace, have been a commentator in the annual Campbelltown Fishers Ghost Street Parade for over 15 years, and have run or participated in many public speaking courses for adults and school children over many years through Toastmasters.

I am a member of the following organisations:

 As well as my coaching, mentoring and speaking as a Life Success Coach I also write articles for Smarter Macarthur business magazine. Apart from my family my true passion is motivating and helping others to be the best version version of themselves.

Edward is a qualified counselor, Clinical Hypnotherapist, National registered Mediator, Trainer, and Life coach. Who specializes in Challenging behavior, personal development, Anger management, community building, tailored workshops and training, and CBT.

Edward works with communities and businesses around Australia, he builds community engagement, offers a therapeutic approach, and deals with the disadvantage. Edward is the founder and was the Director of Development for Life Consultancy Services Pty Ltd.


Edward has consulted with major government and non-government organisations and has also been a teacher for TAFE NSW. Edward is also a writer and an advocate for single fathers within NSW.  Edward is from a cultural heritage of Greek and Aboriginal( Wiradjuri Tribe) .

Edward also spent 13 yrs as a fireman with fire and rescue NSW, with further acknowledgment of a bravery award for courageous actions from the commissioner, awards for conduct and service. Edward took on a role as an Operations Director at Dreamtime Explorers. Edward sits on multiple (5)Not for Profit boards within NSW and is a JP.
